Physiotherapist

Sharon Shew is a physiotherapist with a passion for optimizing performance and recovery. She earned her Physiotherapy degree from Queen’s University and holds a Psychology and French degree from the University of Victoria, specializing in neuropsychology. With expertise in neurotherapy, Sharon treats conditions such as stroke recovery, balance and vestibular dysfunction, concussions, movement disorders, Parkinson’s, PSP, and oncology. She is highly skilled in orthopaedic rehabilitation and guiding athletes back to peak performance. As a former president of the Neurosciences Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association, Sharon integrates neurotherapy into orthopaedic care to retrain movement patterns and restore function, mobility and strength.
Outside her clinical practice, Sharon is deeply involved in her community. She leads running clinics, sharing her expertise and enthusiasm with others. A dedicated athlete herself, Sharon has competed at national and world levels in running and triathlon. She also enjoys tennis, golf, and martial arts. Beyond her professional and athletic pursuits, Sharon is passionate about animal welfare. Sharon volunteers with dog rescues, fosters dogs, and provides therapy for her canine companions.
