Becky Yuan
Registered Massage
Therapist
When Becky ran her first half marathon in 2003, she pursued the goal for the purpose of seeing what she is capable of. Ever since, she has completed 16 more half marathons, 2 full marathons, 4 half ironman’s, a full distance extreme triathlon, and conquered her goal of swimming across Lake Erie. During these pursuits, she has always been interested in the human anatomy and understanding how the body works.
Through the years, she has dealt with numerous overuse injuries, sprained ankles, joint pains, shoulder injuries. Her daughters during their time as competitive cheerleaders have had jumpers knee, dislocated shoulders, sprained wrists and concussions. This led to Becky to have a desire to learn about movement, injury prevention, and treatment. She went back to school in her late 40s studying massage therapy. She is well versed in Swedish techniques, joint mobilization, fascial work, remedial exercises, trigger point techniques, as well as obtaining certification in athletic taping, graston technique and cupping.
As a manual therapist Becky is committed to helping clients move and live a pain free life. Nothing gives her better joy than helping runners, triathletes, swimmers, and other weekend warriors be able to pursue their athletic goals by preventing injuries through pre-emptive therapeutic treatments, and post therapeutic treatments.
Becky is also able to provide relaxation treatments through general Swedish massage.
